$200 a month going to a good cause
I feel very comforted to know that I live in a very safe, problem-free complex. It's a great feeling. I was reminded of this fact today, when I got a very official-looking note from the HOA, warning me that if I continued to be 'in violation' of the Association's code, they would need to take further action against me. My offense? I currently do not have a "globe" for my front porch light. Damn! It's comforting to know that, if this is a big concern to them, my neighborhood must be in pretty good shape! Wooohoo.
